People often suggest to me that I should make travel blog, what with all the wanderlusting I've been doing, but sometimes that's easier said than done! Living in a tent on a beach on Nicaragua doesn't present too many wi-fi options. Especially when I had no connection...or laptop...
So here I am. I'm doing an English and Creative Writing degree at the moment as a mature student at the ripe old age of 26.
I came back from my last jaunt and hit the earth with a thud. Geared by the reasoning to better myself and try and build some semblance of a career I applied to university. It really was as simple as that. And so I find myself trying to keep up on nights out with the young'uns and diving head first into essay writing again.
I intend to put my creative writing up on here, along with anything else which I deem remotely interesting. This may include any travels or trips, surfing escapades (I love surfing) and an account of the day to day life of our new dog, Professor Barnabus von Chocolate (Barney for short). He's a rescue dog with more emotional baggage than most adults and a inane fear of me for some reason. He is coming out of his shell, but unfortunately he's coming out growling...
